The marine life has been degrading quickly over the past few years and not many people seem to care about it. We have done 1500 years worth of natural damage in 50-80 years. For this hackathon, I decided to do something that not many people would think of. And as one of the meanings of community is the ecosystem, I said why not do something different.
I developed on an idea to put sensors in water bodies that are prone to blast fishing( using hydrophones) and attach a pH sensor along with it . The hydrophone will detect if there is a blast and let the concerned authorities know so they can catch the fishermen and the pH sensor will let the local people around the water body know the quality of water so that they can take care of it and be responsible citizens.
Hopefully this idea gets more advanced in the future and we can end up saving many aquatic species from extinction.
