Making Random Comics Combinations!

  My motivation

Inspiration

I really enjoy reading comics and I thought it would be funny if I could make random combinations of them.

What it does

If you click on a panel, it randomizes the comic.

How I built it

To design a website, I usually begin by writing code in index.html to design the functionality of the website. I initially consider what main purpose it should serve, and use the easiest design tools to ensure that the user gets a seamless, comfortable experience.

My thought process

I try to make the user experience as uncomplicated as possible, for instance, if the website is displaying multiple options, I would like to have a toggle down bar instead of displaying all the options loose. After the main function is fulfilled, I move onto the fonts and formatting, adding headers, and changing style.css to add colour. In the middle of each stage, I often open the final link in a new window to check if the code properly works.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Using the API for the website, that was definitely difficult but I learnt fast and adapted!
