Inspiration

In lieu of Donald Trump's inauguration as the 45th President of the United States of America, it is only fitting that his tweets should be held with highest regards. Together, we will determine the course of typing and the world for many, many years to come. We will face challenges, we will confront hardships, but we will get the typing done.

What it does

Trump's tweets will come flying down from space (duh), and it is your job to type the tweets away before it lands on our planet. Jokes aside, this is just a fun little typing game that will hopefully bring a few minutes of entertainment to your day, and ideally, improve your typing speed with some fun.

How we built it

It was built on HTML5 with Javascript using the Phaser framework. Assets are blatantly ripped from the Internet sorry and thanks.

Challenges we ran into

1. Controls that are strictly restricted to keyboards because we don't want people fumbling around for their mouse
2. Integrating smooth transition between game states
3. Calculating words per minute and accuracy
4. Sprites and particle management
5. Making the game annoying

Accomplishments that we're proud of
