MakerCon - Colour Image App

Inspiration

Society are not built very accommodating for people with impairments. This is especially the case for those that are visually impaired. We wish to help these folks live their life in a better manner with the assistance of technology.

What it does

Identifies colour, text and different objects on an image.

How we built it

Using React Native, JavaScript, Google Vision API

Challenges we ran into

Had a hard time figuring out how to use the different API calls Connecting React Native to Node function

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Figured out how to use Google Vision API Constructing functions that take different values from the API
