🌙 The Story Behind LunarLyrics

Every project starts with a spark — for me, it was a mix of music, emotions, and self-discovery.

In my first year of college, I went through a phase of intense personal change.
I found myself shifting from reading romantic novels to diving into books about self-growth like You Can Heal Your Life.
With every page, I was learning that love, healing, and authenticity all begin with one thing: loving yourself.

But books weren’t enough.
I wanted a space where I could weave together my two deepest loves — words and emotions — and present them in a way that reflects how we feel in moments of love, heartbreak, or personal growth.
That’s when LunarLyrics was born.

💖 What is LunarLyrics?

LunarLyrics is more than just a blog.
It’s my personal journal turned into a living, breathing website.
It blends:

  • 🎵 Song lyrics that capture raw emotions
  • 📝 Reflections on love, imperfection, and growth
  • 🌌 Aesthetic visuals to match each emotion’s vibe
  • 💻 My first real full-stack project — built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (frontend) and Node.js (backend), hosted on Render

🚀 My Journey Creating It

When I started, I was a beginner in full-stack development.
I didn’t know all the right terms or best practices — I just knew I wanted to create something real.

Piece by piece, I built:

  • A dark, calming theme to match the emotional tone
  • Pages inspired by specific feelings and songs
  • A structure that would let me easily add more entries in the future

I poured love into both the design and the words.
The result? A place that feels like a safe corner of the internet — where someone out there might read and think, “This is exactly how I feel.”
