Inspiration

We were inspired by the upcoming holiday - Valentine's day. Studies have shown that women go through a lot of loneliness on this holiday, so we created this app to uplift them.

What it does

Our website promotes self love by providing users with thoughtfully curates self-date ideas, loving journaling prompts, and self-gifting inspiration.

How we built it

We built this website using React. We divided up our tasks and supported each other throughout the process

Challenges we ran into

The main challenges we ran into were merge conflicts, logic errors, JS libraries that we had never used before and working with OpenAI API keys.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're so proud of our API calls to Open AI as well as the animations we were able to add.

What we learned

We learned how to use API calls and some new Javascript libraries.

What's next for Love Letter

We want to implement a feature so that users can input their journaling responses and store them on the website.
