Inspiration
Communication is the biggest door-opener. And it's really unfortunate that so many becoming fearful and insecure of it. According to a 2021 study by Crucial Learning, 39% have felt unsafe in speaking their minds either every day or every week. One simple and straightforward way to solve this is to practice. Ironically, the process of seeking tutoring or help for communicating itself requires communication.
What it does
What we've built is a simple personal public speaker trainer. The user may submit audio recording and/or an audio wav file to be analyzed.
How we built it
The front end was built with the React framework and Vite tool. We used Multer to handle files, and primarily JavaScript and the Deepgram API for the backend.
