Inspiration
During this hard time, we all have experienced both mental and physical breakdowns and it did not matter who you were strong-minded or weak-minded. We were all affected by it in some shapes or form.
What it does
The website helps to embrace this uncertainty by taking a step forward to take good care of ourselves by monitoring symptoms and practicing self-help strategies to overcome the stress in our environment. Therefore, in the website we provided a tool to set up wellness goals and tracking them and utilizing the support of the community around us.
How we built it
First, we researched the type of support the user needed. We brainstorm the idea to make it impactful. Then, we decided to prototype the design of our website by using Figma. Lastly, we used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Javascript to create our website idea!
Challenges we ran into
Many of us are new to creating a website and using HTML,CSS, Javascript and Figma. Futhermore, we had a limit time, but we enjoy our experience because we learned something new!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Taking an idea from scratch and able to have a finish project within out time limit. Also, having the opportunity to share our ideas and combine them into one.
What we learned
We learned a lot of new technical tools and the product life cycle. We also learned the concept of wireframes and transmitted them into code.
What's next for LivWell
We would continue to fix our website and integrate wearable devices (apple watches, etc.) to monitor activity and heart rate for better physical health. Furthermore, add fun games and have a prescriber check up on the user and see if they are on the right path.
