Inspiration
The inspiration for the Living with Parents Simulator came from my personal experiences after graduating with a computer science degree and navigating the complexities of living with parents. The transition from academic life to the real world brought unique challenges and situations that I wanted to explore through this project.
What it does
The Living with Parents Simulator is a virtual game designed to simulate the experiences of individuals living with their parents as a neet.
How we built it
We built the Living with Parents Simulator using PartyRock framework and incorporated AI-generated images using the diffusion model.
Challenges we ran into
One of the significant challenges we encountered was the difficulty in generating images that effectively conveyed the meaning of rewards, such as chicken tendies, using the diffusion model. Despite our efforts, the generated images didn't always match the intended concept. This required us to explore alternative approaches and refine our understanding of image generation techniques.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of our ability to acquire new skills and delve into AI-generated image generation using the diffusion model. Despite the challenges, we persevered and expanded our knowledge base, contributing to the development of the Living with Parents Simulator.
What we learned
The development of the Living with Parents Simulator provided valuable learning experiences. We deepened our understanding of AI-generated image generation techniques, honed our problem-solving skills, and expanded our proficiency in PartyRock framework.
What's next for Living with Parents Simulator
In the future, we plan to explore the possibility of switching to the Mistral LLM model to better align with the tone and dynamics of the simulator. We aim to enhance the gameplay experience by incorporating advanced AI capabilities and expanding the range of scenarios and decision-making options available to players.
