Inspiration
We were inspired by games like Binding of Issac, Devil Daggers, Undertale, and other difficult retro games.
What it does
It's a game, you play and hopefully, get dopamine. The name comes from how companies are named like limited = LTD, with the limbo part mirroring the setting and monsters the player fights.
How we built it
It was built with Godot, with the art done in Pixel Studio, and the music done with Beepbox.io.
Challenges we ran into
We were too ambitious and our initial vision was not possible in 24 hours alone.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As cliche as it sounds working together to make a game we can be proud of.
What we learned
We increased our proficiency in Godot, our ability to work in teams, and how to better prioritize workflows in a limited time.
What's next for Limbo LTD.
To work towards our initial vision of more content, smother gameplay, and generally more polished game.
