Inspiration

When asking ourselves what to build we wondered what kind of insurance we were the least familiar with as we were actually the exact demographic that our project was targeting to educate. We all came to the same conclusion that none of us actually knew anything about any StateFarm insurance offerings besides Car and Auto, so we took that as a challenge to educate ourselves and our fellow peers.

What it does

We decided to create a web app that displays a few scenarios to not only educate but engage students and show them how all of the StateFarm insurance offerings could benefit them not only right now but also in the long run. At the end of the scenarios we use Twilio to put them directly in contact with the local StateFarm insurance representative.

How we built it

We built it using React, Twilio, HTML, CSS, Figma, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Refactoring, Code clarity, and holding ourselves accountable to industry design practices.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned a lot about building a dynamic website that's scale and could be held up to industry standards.

What we learned

We learned a lot of design and CSS principles.

What's next for Life2Expect.tech

We plan to finish the rest of the story paths for the other kinds of insurances StateFarm offers and while keeping it engaging and not just purely informative.
