Inspiration
Since its dawn, tools have been present and shaping our human history. Studies have shown that early access to tools unlocks essential skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, motricity. In addition, they’ve been shown to help increase independence and improve self-confidence in helping someone transform a space into their own. I've been hard at work solving the problem of creating a library of things to bring needed items into the hands of every person. I would love to build a team to combine the data I've been collecting over the last 6 years to help everyone in Centraide's network easily get access to the tools they need whenever they need it.
What it does
With the accessible data, we've found what and where tools are the most needed. We suggest an intelligent network of delivery points in targeted Centraide organizations to provide access to underserved neighborhoods.
How I built it
On codlab the team developped a 4 step approach based on data analysis and machine learning.
