Inspiration

I was inspired by my own need for when I need to rewrite some content and then I end up wasting more time searching something else on the internet. So this application will help me to get the aswers in one place. Lexigo Studio bridges that gap by putting powerful AI-based rewriting, translation, and content analysis right where it’s needed: inside your creative workspace.

What it does

Lexigo Studio is an AI-powered Adobe Express add-on that rewrites text in various styles and tones, translates content across 12 major languages, and analyzes the visual and textual effectiveness of design elements like flyers or posters. It helps users polish their messaging, ensure multilingual accuracy, and improve visual communication — all with intuitive controls and direct content insertion into the design.

How we built it

We built Lexigo Studio using React and Adobe's Spectrum UI components, integrating the Adobe Express Add-on SDK to interact with document content. For AI capabilities, we leveraged the Meta LLaMA-4 for rewriting, translation, and image-based design analysis. We implemented text input controls, intelligent language pairing validation, and automatic content injection as notes into the user’s document.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was designing a smooth user experience that integrates advanced AI outputs into the Adobe Express ecosystem without overwhelming the user. We also had to manage strict JSON output formats from the AI, handle image uploads and pre-signed URLs for design analysis, and ensure that translation input and output languages remained mutually exclusive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a seamless workflow where users can rewrite, translate, and analyze without ever leaving Adobe Express. From intuitive language pairing logic to the ability to click and insert AI-generated responses directly into the canvas, Lexigo Studio delivers practical functionality with a thoughtful UX.

What we learned

We learned how powerful even lightweight AI integration can be when paired with a clear UX and a focused use case. We also deepened our knowledge of working with image renditions, dynamic UI states, and maintaining high performance while fetching and rendering AI responses within a design environment.

What's next for Lexigo Studio

I want to add the ability to analyze multi-page designs or social media post previews.
