Let Them Cook

Inspiration

Challenge regarding things we would have liked to know during Highschool. Cooking is only taught in voluntary electives. This is a play on what could be a fun experience to help students learn.

What it does

Currently is an unfinished tech demo.

How we built it

Using Unity alongside Hololens' Mixed Reality Toolkit.

Challenges we ran into

Using Unity alongside Hololens' Mixed Reality Toolkit. Version control in particular took a majority of the time to fumble over, so much so that a 4 man team became 1.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That regardless of the difficulty, some form of the project was realized, even if unrepresentative of our vision.

What we learned

That working with software and APIs with high rate of modification can result in excess work if setup is not made abundantly clear and concise.

What's next for Let Them Cook

To become its true self in another life (the next hackathon).
