Let's Gym

Inspiration

As youth students and as women we are feeling the need of fitness app because of the lack of time and motivation, the non experience and especially the need to have a strict planning with an experienced coach at our homes.

What it does

Let's Gym is a multiplateform solution, it cosists of a : - New feature in the ThinQ mobile app which helps us to manage our schedules, choose a practicing program and adapt LG devices to set a convenable enviroment while practicing. - Web App designed and implemented exclusivly for the OS of LG devices, more precisely for "LG smart TV" and the new "Stand By Me" device, in order to simulate the exercise, open the camera to correct the user's mouvemets using our model and finally manage all app's settings and information. - Intelligent fitness coach model.

How we built it

To build the mobile extesion we used Kotlin, WebOS for web app and Python to implement the model from scratch.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing the different steps of the model ( from body tracking to correcting the mouvements).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

 After 48h we are proud to have 2 platformes exclusively for LG devices and a fully functional modal that gives accurate feedback for three fitness activities, all made from scratch.

What's next for Let's Gym

 We are aiming to add more features that envolve the user's experience and that reflects more the technologies of LG, we are aiming also to add more fitness moves to our model and emotions detection to encourage the user when he's tired or congratulate him when he's proud...
