Inspiration

My Inspiration behind this app was that millions of kids around the world do not have education because of poverty, which leads them to also having a terrible childhood and adulthood, which would be the same circumstance with the next generation. With this app, even if they can just save enough money to buy a phone, then they can access this app which can help their young children learn.

What it does

Basically, this app has 3 categories, one for the alphabet, one of numbers, and another one for shapes. Using Tabs at the bottom of the screen for easy access of each category, it gives information on each letter number and shape, giving examples with it too.

How we built it

I built it using Swift on the platform called Xcode.

Challenges we ran into

The challenged I ran into were not knowing how to code the certain Idea, which later I overcame by watching countless tutorials on youtube on how to do it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud to be finish this app because it is a really big app(over1000 lines of code), as well as completing and being able to share this app to everyone.

What we learned

I learned more about the components in SwiftUi, as well as not to give up over some small mistakes that can be easily fixed with a little focus and determination.

What's next for LearningLikeAPro

I will probably make it even more user interactive, and maybe add some fun practice games with it too!
