Inspiration

recently I've found that chemistry is extremely hard for me, some of the words confused me a lot. And it's hard to always have a personal tutor beside me, so I create a personal tutor for myself.

What it does

it answers all the chemistry problems and can provide examples, and some practice questions. I use llama_index to import the textbook, so it can answer every question when I have problems while you're reading the textbook.

How we built it

I use React Front and Flask to build it

Challenges we ran into

I've been struggling with connecting the backend and frontend, I've been stuck for 5+ hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It can provide the solutions and concepts, and even give me an example of how to solve the problem.

What we learned

I've learned how to integrate the frontend to the back end and what's RAG.

What's next for learning-support

I'm gonna import more resources like videos to demonstrate chemical reactions, maybe some kind of lab simulation, and include other subjects like CS, math, and Physics.
