Inspiration

We were inspired by the theme of this Hackathon of Project Lazarus and the idea of rebirthing a little different each time.

What it does

You can run and fight and if you get good boots and a good sword you can do that very fast 😀.

How we built it

We used the Godot game engine to create it using GitHub to merge each of our progresses together.

Challenges we ran into

Spending 5 hours trying to work out why input events were not working just to realise I had opened the game in the wrong mode that did not allow for inputs. The map that we planned to add unfortunately had too many errors to finish.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The death system along with the inventory I am quite (biasedly) proud of along with the interactions they have with the player and the zombies.

What we learned

Follow the tutorial as you may realise you are in the wrong mode sooner.

What's next for Lazarus Survival

The map being part of the world instead of the grey abyss along with crafting.
