Inspiration

Finding a good teammate for a single-day hackathon can be quite challenging. With such limited time, it's essential to have a partner who not only has complementary skills but also shares the same level of commitment and enthusiasm. The pressure to deliver a complete and polished project within just 8 hours means that any mismatch in working style or pace can significantly impact the outcome. Additionally, the need for quick decision-making and effective communication becomes paramount, and without prior working experience together, it's difficult to ensure seamless collaboration. The right teammate can make or break the hackathon experience, highlighting just how crucial it is to find someone who can quickly adapt, contribute meaningfully, and work harmoniously under tight deadlines.

What it does

Help hackathon participants to find their dream teammate by providing their personality.

How we built it

Using the Amazon Bedrock for the ML and Launchdarkly.

Challenges we ran into

Originally we tried to use our own UI environment and proof to be difficult, then when switching into the demo setup we ran into LaunchDarkly issue and eventually figured it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the usage of LaunchDark to manage features and the AI models/prompts provided through Bedrock. The UI turned out decently well with a minimalistic look.

What we learned

We learned how to pair LaunchDarkly with AWS Bedrock to form a more adaptive and tailored user experience.

What's next for LaunchyDarkly-Amazon Match Maker

With more time, we hope to fully explore the technologies used and move from a demo to a fully-fledged product. Convex could prove helpful with its user authentication and data store.
