Inspiration

Early-stage startups face a major problem: they need to validate their ideas quickly with real users, but often lack the budget, time, and resources to run traditional user research studies. In Diego's experience as a UX Research Assistant, hiring UX researchers is expensive, recruiting users manually is slow, and protecting early-stage ideas is risky without formal NDAs. We experienced these pain points firsthand and built RapidUsers to solve them.

What it does

RapidUsers connects startups to real users for fast surveys, private live interviews, and seamless beta tester recruitment — all through one easy-to-use platform.

  • Connect: Startups instantly match with users who fit their target audience.

  • Validate: Founders can launch surveys or conduct interviews directly through the platform.

  • Protect: Users sign automatic NDAs before accessing any startup materials.

  • Recruit: After validation, startups can invite top users to become early beta testers.

  • Automate: AI helps generate smart survey questions and summarize user feedback quickly.

How we built it

Frontend: Figma prototype and a live website showcasing user flows.

Core Features:

  • Survey posting

  • Interview scheduling

  • Automatic NDA signing

  • Beta tester invitation flow

Upcoming Features: AI-generated surveys, automated feedback summaries.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges that we ran into on the technical side was the formatting design-wise and the transition from the Figma mockup to the website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are accomplished of the website we got up and running, applying public APIs, this was one of our technical lead's first time making a website, our other technical lead refined his website development skills. We all learned of cross-functional teamwork in a technical scope under a time constraint. It was also all of our first times at a product hack. Additionally, three of our members had never participated in any form of a hackathon so it was a learning experience.

What we learned

Two of us went to the VC workshop where we gained some industry insight. Additionally, we learned much from the technical portion of our project as outlined in the section above.

What's next for KTP: RapidUsers

  • Launch an MVP with real users and startups.

  • Integrate lightweight AI features for survey generation and feedback summarization.

  • Expand beta tester recruitment functionality.

  • Partner with startup communities, accelerators, and VC firms to scale.

THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE VIDEO UPLOADING PORTION. In the instructions on discord it states that we must upload a 2 minute video "using screenity, screen studio, or loom." We did so, but it states below in the video link portion of this devpost that the link "must be a valid YouTube, Facebook Video, Vimeo or Youku URL." Here is the link to the loom video: https://www.loom.com/share/17e59ff443e94a9e83925a8ce6933dbb?sid=ecb38805-faa6-4fe6-b03e-125afb5a26f1
