Inspiration
Our inspiration for Krypt came from our passion for cryptocurrencies and the need for a user-friendly, data-driven solution to manage crypto portfolios. We saw the challenges that crypto enthusiasts face when tracking their assets and decided to create a tool that simplifies the process.
What it does
Krypt is a user-friendly crypto portfolio tracker. It allows users to effortlessly track and manage their digital assets, offering data visualizations, customization, and real-time insights into their crypto investments. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned trader, Krypt streamlines portfolio management.
How we built it
Krypt was built using basic web development technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Additionally the front-end and design-planning and deciding the overall theme was done by my good friend @countingblunders . Unfortunately he was unable to join the Hackathon at the end. The backend and all the javascript was made by me. CoinMarketCap API was used, and CanvasJS and Chart.JS were used for data visualization purposes. other single line embeds have also been used.
Challenges we ran into
During the development of Krypt, we encountered challenges related to data accuracy and real-time updates. Ensuring that our users receive up-to-date information in a rapidly changing crypto market was a significant hurdle we successfully overcame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud to have created an app that simplifies crypto portfolio tracking for users of all experience levels. The data visualizations, user-friendly interface, and customization options are accomplishments we're particularly proud of.
What we learned
Throughout this project, we deepened our understanding of the cryptocurrency market and the importance of data visualization. We also honed our development skills and gained valuable insights into user experience design.
What's next for Krypt
In the future, we plan to expand Krypt's capabilities by adding more advanced tracking features, such as predictive analytics and risk assessment tools. We're committed to staying at the forefront of the crypto tracking industry and providing the best tools for our users.
