Inspiration

If you don't ever get a ppt project in your high school then where on the earth are you studying, I mean give me that school's admission form... anyways creating ppts are just a big headache for everyone not just me. So I decided to create a ppt maker.

What it does

This software is for those who want to create PPT within no time and effort. It allows you to create ppt with only 4 factors. 1) Your name 2)Topic 3)No of Slides 4)Select the theme You just have to provide these things and rest are on us. The software will automatically find all the data related to your topic and will create a ppt with title, index, acknowledgement, bilbiography and thankyou slides in just less than 4-5 seconds.

How we built it

I have created the software using Python. The frontend of this software is created using PyQt5 and the backend works with a help of PPTX module which allows you create the ppt from scratch by just using the codes. The data are collected from wikipedia and the images are scraped from google.

Challenges we ran into

I was new to PPTX module and it was really really really difficult to create even one slide with it. It took me 4 hrs to figure out that module.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is one of the first software than can create ppt with just the topic name and that too within seconds. This will really help my friends who struggle to create a ppt in their high school. I have created an exe version of this program also so that people who don't know programming can also use it.

What we learned

I finally learnt to deal with ppt files in python without creating any trouble. hehe

What's next for KRYPPT

More designs will surely come to this software. I might even add a online theme store for this application so that people don't get bored with those 4 themes that are available right now in this software. Also I might release a web version of this software so that mobile users can also use it
