Inspiration
Simon Tiu, Vertex Investor who spoke at the start of the presentation talked about the challenges with due diligence and the need for AI agentic flows. We talked to him and found out the due diligence to understand if founder for firm investing is has any red flags/risks, and we wanted to build a technology that can do right that.
What it does
- Investor Inputs: Investor enters name, phone, email, linkedin.
- Founder Form: Bot pressures the founder to fill out a form.
- AI Scrapes Data: AI agents gather data from various sources (sanctions lists, websites, news, corporate registries).
- Report Generation: A risk score and recommendations are provided to the investor.
How we built it
- LLM Integration: Uses Gemini API for NLP processing.
- Data Scraping: Leverages LaunchDarkly and Apify for scraping data.
- Risk Assessment: AI generates a risk score based on the data.
- AWS Email and SQL: Be able to send email to founders and their acquaintances
Challenges we ran into
- Integration of system and not a lot of time (6-7 hour hackathon) so things needed to be scoped quick

- App works and leverage different sponsor activities

- Useful chatting directly to developers from sponsored companies to understand their technology
