Kasparov

Inspiration

In 1999, Gary Kasparov played a game of chess against the world. 50,000 people voted online to select moves against the world chess champion. We aim to allow streamers and subreddit admins to recreate the same experience with their communities.

What it does

Users vote to select a move against the "Kasparov" , every minute/hour/day the top move is selected and the bot plays a move.

How we built it

Devvit! We love how the scheduler allows us to run background jobs to calculate engine moves.

What's next for Kasparov

We've reached out to 20 chess streamers in the hopes of collaborating with them so they can play against their communities!
