What it does

I got very familiar with the Convex platform in a day. My app now does realtime updates everywhere, works as a email hub

How we built it

I used Cloudflare Email workers together with Convex API functions to deliver emails directly into my collaboration platform. Clerk made user authentication really easy. Vercel took things into production with a Git Push.

Challenges we ran into

There were challenges with NPM package versions and the Vercel deployment documentation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Using multiple platforms(E.g. Cloudflare) to deliver data into the Convex platform. The Clerk platform could further strengthen the security with robust user authorization.

What we learned

Database as code works, this is a brilliant way to work with schema's.

What's next for Kaka-dou

Base user identities on decentralized identities and use Clerk for increasing trustworthiness score. E-mail has been pronounced dead for years but it is not going away just yet. Automate processing of emails through conversational AI.
