Inspiration
The main problem for the management of officially approved absences is that they are too slow and down painfully in a manual way, so the system provides a way to work on making these documents easier and more affordable for our very busy faculty.
What it does
It makes a communication between event organizers who are previously approved to have an account, they fill out a form which includes all the students who will be participating in the event and is sent out to an administrator who via an mailbox will answer by approving or cancelling these justification documents.
How we built it
We built it by using MongoDB and Nextjs connected between via an express/node server which helps look for the teachers relevant to the absences requiered.
Challenges we ran into
Coding and connecting the back end to mongo was a struggle due to the port conflicts in our school's internet. Also designing the blueprint or schema to make all the tables was very hard.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made most of a mini hackathon which for the time and experience most of us have it was actually surprising.
