The inspiration behind JustFairJobs stems from the pressing need to address the challenges faced by job seekers from marginalized communities in finding fair and inclusive opportunities. We aim to create a platform that leverages AI and ML to ensure unbiased job matching and foster diversity in the workplace.

What it does

JustFairJobs is an AI-driven platform that matches job seekers from marginalized communities with employers who value diversity and inclusivity. By using machine learning algorithms, we analyze job requirements and candidate profiles to create meaningful connections, reducing bias in the hiring process.

How we built it

We built JustFairJobs using state-of-the-art machine learning libraries and APIs, including scikit-learn for model training and IBM's AI Fairness 360 to detect and mitigate bias in our algorithms. The platform's frontend was developed using modern web technologies to provide a seamless user experience.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process, we faced challenges in fine-tuning the machine learning models to ensure accurate job matching while maintaining fairness. Addressing potential biases in the data and algorithms required careful consideration.
