Inspiration
We wanted to help solve the problem of lack of exercise in the student body. Since people use their laptops for work, we decided to make a just dance style game to allow people to play on the same laptops they use for work.
What it does
Reads movement of users and matches them with a model to give them a score for matching the dance; similar to Just Dance
How we built it
Used OpenCV/ MediaPipe Module to read movements of user and track them to give score
Challenges we ran into
Trouble syncing up the video and overlaying the video, tracking the scores, and terminating the camera process synchronously with the video
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Working through all the challenges and making the best product we could
What we learned
Open CV and MediaPipe module as well as the general idea of computer vision. It's really cool!
