Inspiration
We all had that moment when we wanted to start a diary and journalize our life. But it turns out doing a journal is harder than you think. You have to spend hours writing and thinking about what you did during the day itself. So, why not automate this whole process?
What it does
It basically takes information such as photos and locations to generate a journal, Story telling your day for you.
How we built it
We built a prototype of how the page would look like without the functionality. You would be able to upload photos which also can contain location and time. Then, a auto generated journal will be done for you.
Challenges we ran into
We require an AI that is capable of analyzing a photo. But due to the time constraint, we are not able to find and integrate any AI into our project which means we cant actually create a fully working prototype with its functionality.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're confident in the scalability of our original idea despite limited time and resources. Our innovative concept holds immense potential for streamlining image selection and journal posting, potentially saving valuable time for countless users.
What we learned
We learned a lot from this hackathon, especially by recognizing our mistakes. It showed us how working together, solving problems, and managing time are essential skills, and this is especially true when comes to industry. These abilities are like building blocks, forming a strong foundation for success in our careers.
What's next for Journalator
We believe Journalator can be expanded more especially towards being a social media and integrate with the mobile phone. This way the whole uploading process can be eliminated and the application can simply use the location and images the phone have and generate your daily journal automatically.
