What it does

Moves

How we built it

Using an Arduino to program motor control, different sensors like ultrasonic and colour sensors. Melted, moulded, and reconstructed different 3D printed components to build the arm and holder for our sensor.

Challenges we ran into

The original arm was colliding with box, and not picking it up without consistent errors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a functional robot with an arm attachment that goes directly through the box and can follow a path using sensors to overcome obstructions, move up a ramp, and to aim and shoot a ball at the top of a mounted platform.

What we learned

We learned how to build a robot with tight deadlines, and how to build a bot with limited components given to us. Whether that is building attachments or designing the layout of components and wiring to fit all of our components onto the base.

What's next for Wall-E

To follow lines and aim and shoot a ball into a target consistently without failure
