Job hunting is broken. It's time-consuming, repetitive, and emotionally exhausting — especially when you're applying across borders or industries.

At jobr.pro, we asked ourselves:

"What if job seekers didn’t have to apply at all?"

We envisioned a world where AI and humans collaborate to take the job search completely off your plate, while actually improving your chances of landing interviews.

💼 What it does

jobr.pro is your personal job application assistant — built to apply for jobs on your behalf.

It combines:

  • Smart AI matching to identify relevant jobs
  • Custom resumes and answers tailored for each job
  • Human review to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Autopilot mode that works even when you're offline

You get interview invites in your inbox — not application fatigue.

🔧 How I built it

We used:

  • GPT-4-powered workflows to parse resumes and generate job-specific applications
  • Browser automation & APIs to auto-fill and submit job applications
  • Custom dashboards to track application status
  • Human-in-the-loop workflows for final review and QA
  • ATS integration for better matching and reach

We also plugged into data sources that aggregate jobs from thousands of portals — including hidden and premium job listings.

🧱 Challenges I ran into

  • Teaching AI to understand career nuance — not just job titles
  • Avoiding bot detection while automating applications on job boards
  • Balancing automation speed with application quality
  • Ensuring data privacy, user trust, and compliance with application platforms
  • Creating non-generic cover letters and responses that sound human

🏆 Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  • Successfully blending AI + Human Review to submit high-quality job applications
  • Building a scalable backend that handles hundreds of applications per user
  • Getting early users interviews within the first 2 weeks of using jobr.pro
  • We have seen a lot of people in the jobs/companies we have applied for them

  • Even with the rise of AI, human insight is irreplaceable in career decisions
  • Timing, relevance, and presentation matter more than volume
  • Real impact comes from listening to job seekers, not just building for them
