Jobnt

Inspiration

We were inspired by our common struggle of finding a job.

What it does

It creates a curated resume and CV based on the user's own resume and job description using OpenAI's API.

How we built it

We used python for the back-end and Next.js and react for the front-end.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into issues with OpenAI's API syntax and with compiling LaTex files into pdf files. The front end faced issues with integrating the front end and back end, specifically with the API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we are able to create a finished product.

What we learned

We learned to commit. When it is working, always commit!

What's next for Jobnt

Jobnt aims to further train our AI models so that we are able to more efficiently prepare for jobs rather than scout them out. We see this being used further for specific company websites where we could add extensions to make the application process for streamlined
