Inspiration
My inspiration for this project comes from my ambition to work more in the field of computer science. It's always hard for me to determine what I need to be successful in computer science, and I believe talking to a person that is currently in that field is the best way to solve that problem.
What it does
It allows you to create an account and select a specific job at a specific company. You will be matched with an expert in the company and field you are looking for, and you will be able to chat with them via a desginated chatroom to ask specific questions about the career.
How we built it
I used a combination of django, html, css, and javascript to create this project.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into came with the database and taking and using specific components from a userss registration to help match them with a relevant mentor.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the progress I made with my utilization of Django with this project. I am also proud of how I created a cohesive, well functioning, user friendly application that has a relevant purpose in todays day and age.
What we learned
During this project I learned a lot aout django and specifically using django models and forms to make a more user friendly application.
What's next for Job Helper
I hope to publish this website on the internet so people who really need to find jobs and are on their way to finding a career have an easier job of doing so.
