Inspiration
Have you been jetlagged before? Whether you have or not...jetlag sucks. JetLax makes it easy to travel across the globe, landing feeling perfectly in sync and at your best!
What it does
JetLax automatically prepares a personalized sleeping routine for you leading up to and during your flight which will help you adjust to your destination's time zone completely jetlag free, with the only input on your side being your flight number. We handle the rest!
How we built it
React Native front-end, MATLAB for simulation, FastAPI Back-end, MongoDB Database
Challenges we ran into
First-time for a lot of technologies including MATLAB, React Native. Couldn't connect React Native to MongoDB. MongoDB troubleshooting.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of our back-end being able to fetch/retrieve data from MatLab, and UI design in React Native.
What we learned
Don't stand in line for MLH when they say they wanna give you the hardware.
What's next for JetLax
Implement climate acclimatization feature for users, store meal/DnD preferences.
