I'm so lonely :((((((((

I wish I had friends. It seems pretty cool. But all I have is my laptop.

Luckily, my laptop can now make me friends.

What it does

Jerry (my wingman) automatically logs into your Instagram account and starts sending invites to people you follow to be your friend.

When rizz mode is activated, it instead searches for your soul mate, and sends coffee invites.

How we built it

Built in Next.js + Puppeteer + TailwindCSS.

Challenges we ran into

Instagram is incredibly heavy on bot detection. Lot's of work was done to bust Instagram's protection systems and allow me to bot the site without getting caught.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally made a friend.

What we learned

Learned lots about connecting a stylized front-end with automated web scraping on the backend.
