Description: "PetFinder" is an Android app that was born out of a deep love for animals and a desire to help pet owners in times of distress. Inspired by the heartwarming stories of lost pets being reunited with their owners, this project aimed to create a simple and effective solution to assist pet owners in finding their missing furry friends.

What We Learned: Building PetFinder taught us valuable lessons in mobile app development, user interface design, and user experience optimization. We learned the importance of efficient data storage and retrieval, real-time notifications, and the significance of a user-friendly interface to ensure that the app serves its purpose effectively.
How We Built the Project:

Real-time Notifications: The most critical feature was the real-time notification system. We utilized Firebase Cloud Messaging to send instant alerts to all app users when a pet was reported missing or found nearby.
