What it does
There are step by step pages that goes over your first job and then runs through the most common problems that students run into when it comes to financial literacy.
How we built it
We built the app using mainly Flask and Python along with web development languages like CSS and HTML
Challenges we ran into
We initially started out with trying to development a mobile app using Flutter. However, setting up the development environment proved troublesome for everyone. The first couple of hours was burnt quickly and we found little to no success in setting up the environment for Flutter None of us had experience in Flask and had beginner web development experience, all of which took a long time to get comfortable...
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are all proud it works, it has good styling and it looks a lot like how we envisioned it!

What's next for InvestED
We'd love to integrate a ChatBot using Amazon Bedrock through the Claude model to answer student questions throughout the more difficult sections of the financial literacy course. We also would love to deploy Flask applications on AWS using Lightsail and store progress using browser session or potentially store data using AWS. Improve the UI and user experience of the web app to make it flow better and look more modern! Create an online badge or achievement or certificate that shows that the student complete the course
