How to improve your interview skills

Inspiration

Lots of qualified candidates missed out great opportunities not because lack of skills, but because they missed common interview techniques (ex: facial expression, confidence, etc). We believe AI can help solved it.

What it does

It consists of two parts: Interview Preparation & Realtime Prompting. Interview Prep allow step by step practice with practical feedbacks to help candidate learn by repeating. In Realtime Prompting, it provide quick un-obstructive prompt to help improve proper behaviors.

How we built it

We build the backend using Python and leverage Groq API, HUME, and AWS for the AI services. LLM we use the latest LLAMA3. Front end we employs React.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into coding dependencies issues with HUME and general challenges using API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to built a working demo that provide real-time feedback on Speech-To-Text and sentiment analysis.

What we learned

Team work, collaborate is the key to a successful projects. And everyone with different skills set really help put everythings together.

What's next for Interview-IQ

Two things: Get adoption and scale the infrastructure. We want to leverage our college network to get feedback/improvements while building the resource to scale the production.
