Inspiration

We were inspired by the winter Olympics, and wanted to make something that feels just as international

What it does

App let's you "slide" around the globe and explore.

How I built it

App is built with React and Resium (wrapper for Cesium)

Challenges I ran into

Alot of challenges with getting Cesium to work right.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Anything related to managing the weirdness of Cesium viewer. Our slider navigation picker, and CSS key frame animations on the puck were direct solves to an issue of action delays.

What I learned

I learned a lot about 3D rendering, interval-based functions, and calculations it takes to plot a course.

What's next for International Curling

We built the vehicle, next is building destinations for users to find around the map!
