Interject is an online debating platform for middle school, high school, and university students. The aim of the website is very simple, to provide a platform for students to practice their debating skills (like for speech and debate competitions) to strengthen or reconsider their arguments, to socialize with other debaters, and to get a more comprehensive understanding of national and international issues with a motivated debating community.

This platform helps students express their ideas which could potentially make a positive impact on society and lead to much-needed changes.

Also, many students nowadays are oblivious to the happenings around the world and find news boring. Through Interject, students can find other students to talk with and become well-informed citizens. Interject can make news less boring for students.

There are two debating options on the website: Offline: Our website has a debating chatbot that was trained with Deep Neural Networks on debate dialogues. Users can debate with this chatbot to practice their debating skills. Online: The online option allows students with opposing views to debate against each other through a side-by-side chat feature to practice debating.
