Inspiration

One of our team members witnessed a close friend struggle with financial loss due to poor investment decisions, largely influenced by emotional trading and misinformation. The stock market can be intimidating, especially for those who lack the time or expertise to analyze trends effectively.

We hope to address this issue by providing a smart, AI-powered trading assistant that helps investors make informed decisions based on data, not emotions. IntelligentTrader empowers users with real-time insights, risk analysis, and automated strategies to improve their trading outcomes.

What It Does

IntelligentTrader has two main features:

🔍 Discover Insights – Users input their stock interests, and IntelligentTrader analyzes real-time market data, matches it with historical trends, and provides actionable insights. If users need guidance, prompts help refine their queries.

📈 Automate Strategies – Users can set up AI-driven strategies based on risk tolerance and investment goals. IntelligentTrader continuously monitors the market and recommends or executes trades accordingly.

How We Built It

The IntelligentTrader project consists of three core components:

🖥 Front-End – Designed with JavaScript, React, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring a modern, responsive user experience.

⚙️ Back-End – Powered by Node.js and integrates with financial market APIs to fetch real-time data and execute AI-driven trade suggestions.

📊 AI & Data Processing – Utilizes machine learning models, fine-tuned with Python and TensorFlow, to analyze market patterns, predict trends, and optimize trade execution.

Challenges We Ran Into

📌 Market Data Complexity – Integrating multiple financial APIs while ensuring accuracy and real-time performance was a significant challenge.

📌 AI Model Fine-Tuning – Achieving reliable, real-world predictions required extensive data training and optimization.

📌 Risk Management Algorithms – Developing AI-driven strategies that balance profitability and risk mitigation took multiple iterations.
