Inspiration

From the project's inception, the team sought to create a secure banking application and a full-stack risk management solution for the S&P 500.

What it does

The project aspires to bridge a gap. Integration, in this sense, means more than a shared cloud instance but rather integration as an overarching design philosophy.

How we built it

As software developers, the team understands the delicate balance between low-level (c-like) with memory instablity and the overindulgent stack. The team’s solution to this was to create the entire project in pure Java Swing.

Challenges we ran into

Many issues my team experienced were a result of slow initial progress in formulating our overall design. This caused the coders to refactor and tweak significant segments of the code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is not to say the team is not proud of the final product. We are extremely happy that all the features we planned made it into the final product. With that final product, we not only implemented a proper object-oriented design but a cohesive, integrated (with web) UX Design.

What we learned

One lesson the team won’t forget is the ability and (sometimes) ease of complete strangers meeting, collaborating, and creating a cohesive product. During the downtime, we reflected on past experiences of carrying our respective teams to mediocracy.

What's next for Untitled

Developing this project, the team stayed consistently focused on the mutually agreed-upon vision. This afforded us to create a complex system that’s open for expansion and ready for cross-platform deployment.
