This project aims to bring employers and employees together. This project consists of a web app and telegram bot that are linked together. A Firebase Realtime Database is used for this project.

Inspiration

Inspired by the track guiding question

What it does

Allows students (O/N Level, JC, Poly, ITE, etc) to find internships/part-time/ad-hoc jobs easier

How we built it

We used Flask to create a web app and Python for the Telegram Bot. Firebase Realtime Database is used to link both platforms.

Challenges we ran into

Inadequate time to complete everything in time. Our initial plan of MongoDB Database was not working so we had to look for alternatives in a short period of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to complete both platforms in time.

What we learned

We learned that every team member has different strengths and skillsets and we tried to maximize our potential by working to our strengths.

What's next for Inteet SgIntern

Future improvements such ask making WebHooks for the Telegram bot and Serverless deployment using AWS Lambda. Furthermore, we will try to deploy our own Database for easier GET/POST requests (etc).
