Inspiration
My inspiration to create my portfolio was the desire to build my brand image. The title, "Hack Your Portfolio", really pushed me to delve deeper into myself and create something that will show different aspects of me to people who would otherwise just know of me in a particular setting.
What it does
This portfolio demonstrates different parts of myself. The landing page tells the user about my name and the different roles I have in different parts of my life. The About section gives a more personalized biography followed by a timeline of my recent work experiences. The Skills section shows the vast amounts of technical knowledge I have and the Projects section highlights my recents works and the skills applied with a link to a code repository. The Startups section unveils the entrepreneur in me and talks about my startup, Zyana and my vision behind it. The Contact section allows people to reach out to me via different platforms.
How we built it
It was built using three.js, React, tailwindcss, html, javascript.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge I faced was deciding the color scheme of the portfolio and some User Interface design choices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The portfolio turned out really great in my opinion and I am really proud of how it looks.
What we learned
I learnt how to use tailwindcss with React as a first timer, along with three.js.
What's next for InnovationInk: Scribbling Ideas in Code
I plan to work on refactoring the code, followed by design improvements. I plan on adding more sections like Volunteer Experiences.
