Inspiration
As a DevOps Engineers, the most boring part of our jobs was writing yaml/hcl configuration files. We see a lot of platforms geared toward developers, more specifically, frontend/JS devs, but there is nothing for infra guys so we decided to make it.
What it does
0conf is a platform for managing your infrastructure with natural language. Just add some cloud credentials, environment variables, and our AI agent will take care of the rest.
How we built it
Most of the frontend and supabase migrations were created in Bolt.new. Backend was created with Cursor and Claude Code.
Challenges we ran into
Vibe coding is a new concept for us so making AIs understand what exactly we want was pretty difficult. Sometimes AI couldn't fix the error and started going in circles without providing any value.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we actually created working product, albeit a bit rough around the edges. Before that when we tried to create some new tool we were failing due to lack of frontend experience, so now it's cool that AI can help us with that.
What we learned
We've learned how to actually work efficiently with AIs. It's truly a game changer that we'll take with us in to the future.
What's next for 0conf
Fix some outstanding issues, add features like automatic application deployments and create a company out of this product.
