Problem

Project Gutenberg has published more than 50,000 classic and public domain e-books. In addition, more books are being released with creative commons licenses every year. Finding something in such a collection can be pretty daunting, however.

The Infinite Library Reader helps to solve this problem by giving users a window into this vast collection.

Technologies

The Infinite Library Reader app is a cross-platform desktop application which will eventually support Mac, Windows, and Linux.

After downloading the app, users instantly will have access to thousands of titles from public-domain sources (Unglue.it, Gutenberg/GITenberg, etc). Files are downloaded locally and can be viewed off-line.
