Working with Every Campus a Refuge (ECAR) inspired us students at the Early College at Guilford to assist refugees settle stress-free in the United States, especially after the suspension of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) on January 20, 2025. Using React Native, we built an app that prepared refugees for their USCIS interviews using AI to practice and review their performance. Although we had a hard time working at the same time, we were able to bring our app together with efficient communication and planning to work asynchronously.
