Inspiration
Thought that it would be an interesting project and since the theme was art it had a heavy relation.
What does it do?
Image generator based on user inputs.
How we built it
Got API Key from OpenAI, linked our replit to that key, took user inputs from primary page of the website to generate an image powered by DALL-E.
Challenges we ran into
Importing OpenAI replit library since the back-end code was quite tricky to figure out. Displaying only the image that was created by the AI as the AI also made a back story behind the image causing issues when trying to display it on our website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Exporting only the image from DALL-E without the text that is generated as well. Making and animating the particles for this website, as well as some other CSS features.
What we learned
How to implement and use containers in CSS only for certain elements such as the button as well as make @keyframe animations.
What's next for imagirator
Hopefully a smoother design as well as other components such as a story generator.
