Inspiration
In a world where web 3.0 is referred to as the vision of future technology and which is, we reasoned among ourselves to help create a DAPP Token can be owned and be used by holders to undertake transactions as they wish. We have also built a decentralize token exchange platform that allows users to trade eth with our native token (DDAP Token) on the platform (hyc-coin).
What it does
Just as other tokens, the DAPP Token can be owned and be used by holders to undertake transactions as they wish. We have also built a decentralize token exchange platform that allows users to trade eth with our native token (DDAP Token) on the platform (hyc-coin).
How we built it
The frontend of the platform is built with nextjs, reactjs, typescript and tailwind css. The backend is built with solidity, typescript, jest, MVC design patterns and test driven development.
Challenges we ran into
We had a hard time deploying the contract to a test network. The reason being we needed a lot of test tokens to seed the application with and we were not getting enough tokens.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That we have our own token called DAPP Token and a decentralize token exchange platform that allows users to trade eth with the native token (DDAP Token) on the platform (hyc-coin).
What we learned
That no project is too small or big, you just have to get started to finish.
What's next for hyc-coin
That we will be able to add update that allows the exchange of other cryptocurrencies with our DAPP token.
