Inspiration

HourFi is inspired by our own challenges with time management. We wanted to develop an application that encouraged students to become more conscious of how they manage their time, and hold them accountable to their own goals.

What it does

HourFi tracks user’s hours spent in a session within a location. HourFi’s built in planner has the capability to document these sessions, as well as allowing users to pre-plan sessions. This allows the user to compare how they budgeted their time to how they spent it HourFi includes a rich organizations feature that allows for users to track their day along with a community of their peers.

How we built it

We built HourFi on the flutter framework using dart, and firebase for our database.

Challenges we ran into

None of us have done mobile development before, so there was a lot to learn before diving into the implementation.
